Title: Living in Hope

Why is it that you know and I know so many people who were once on fire for Lord but are now cold? Think about this for a moment. You know people that were faithfully faithful but now hardly darken the door of church?

Several years ago I read a study made by a school that said the average fundamental Christian last about five years. Now I questioned those figures then but in retrospect, if the study was taking into account every soul that was baptized, that figure might be alarmingly correct.

So what is it that causes so many to drop out? I think I have put a finger on the problem.

They never learned to live in hope.
