1 Corinthians 5:6-8

6 Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? 7 Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

 

c.       Their to Obey Quickly

II.               The Sacrifice of the First Fruits

 

A.     What did God ask Israel to Sacrifice? The first thing you going to say is going to be the lambs, the sacrifices on the altars. Let me share with you some you may not have caught.

This offering was require before any of the gains could be used. It signaled that good things were coming.

 

C.     What is the First Fruit of our Salvation?

 

                 1 Corinthians 15:20-23

20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead.22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming.

 

Conclusion:

They Ended with Worship – The Seven Day was a day where the assembled again to worship.
